Hybrid mattresses like the DreamCloud are becoming more and more popular due to the way they combine the benefits of memory foam and innerspring mattresses with limited cons (typically being more expensive). With the queen starting at $1,200, the DreamCloud isn't a budget choice. However, investing in your sleep offers great value for money and versatility. While most hybrid mattresses are on the firmer side, the DreamCloud has a relatively thick comfort layer that provides great contouring for average or heavyweight side sleepers. This makes the DreamCloud a versatile hybrid that works well for couples and combination sleepers. We also like that DreamCloud stands by its products with a full-year trial, lifetime warranty, and free shipping and returns. They really make it risk-free to see if it works for you.

  • Unique 5-layer design with the comfort layer consisting of a blend of different types of memory foam and densities.
  • Uses a more modern gel-infused memory foam to improve cooling over traditional polyurethane memory foam.
  • Individually pocketed coil layer aids in cooling and limits motion transfer typically associated with innerspring mattresses.
  • Outside perimeter of the coil layer has stronger springs to provide edge support when entering or exiting the mattress as well as sleeping near it.
  • Bottom of mattress has a porous layer to improve airflow.

  • Price is the most obvious con about nice hybrid mattresses like the DreamCloud. However, considering how long hybrid mattresses can last, this may actually be less of an issue if you spread out the costs over time.
  • For some, this may be a pro but the DreamCloud is borderline excessively thick at 15" regardless of size. Some bedframes with low headboards (like in the image above) may look awkward with such a thick mattress.
